Rules, Terms & Conditions

Indoor Cricket Centre - Health & Safety Rules

1. Protective Gear: All players must wear appropriate protective equipment, including

helmets (for batters and wicketkeepers), pads, gloves, and abdominal guards.

2. Supervised Play: No unsupervised practice or matches. A coach or staff member

must be present.

3. Bowling Restrictions: Fast bowling must be controlled and appropriate for the skill

level of players. No excessive bouncers.

4. Batting Safety: Batters must be alert and ready before facing a delivery. No

unnecessary swinging of the bat outside of gameplay.

5. Fielding Awareness: Fielders must stay alert at all times. Close-in fielders should

wear protective helmets and pads.

6. No Running in Unsafe Areas: Only run within the designated pitch area. Avoid

reckless running that could lead to collisions.

7. Safe Ball Handling: Do not throw the ball recklessly. Bowlers and fielders should

avoid unnecessary force when returning the ball.

8. Footwear: Non-marking sports shoes must be worn at all times to prevent slipping

on the playing surface.

9. Warm-Up & Stretching: All players must complete a warm-up and stretching

session before play to prevent injuries.

10. Medical Assistance: Any injuries must be reported immediately to staff. First aid is

available on-site.

11. Respect & Conduct: Players must respect umpires, coaches, and fellow players.

Aggressive or dangerous behavior will not be tolerated.

12. Emergency Procedures: In case of an emergency, follow staff instructions and

evacuate safely if needed.

13. Parking Liability: Vehicles parked in the car park are left at the owner’s risk. The

Indoor Cricket Centre is not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of vehicles or

belongings.

14. Booking Requirement: Customers may only use the facility if they have made a

booking. By booking and using the facility, customers accept all responsibilities

outlined in these rules, including safety, conduct, and parking liability.

Opening Times

By Appointment Only:

Monday – Friday: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Saturday – Sunday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Lane Fees

Bola Trueman Machine Lane: £45.00 per 50 minutes

Normal Lane with Bola Machine Use: £35.00 per 50 minutes

Membership

Annual Membership Fee: £50 per annum

Membership Benefits:

o 10% discount on all lane bookings

o 50% of membership fee is donated to the local club

Eligibility for Use:

o Members of a cricket club

o Members of the Advanced Cricket Academy (ACA)

o Players training with a professional cricket coach

o All players must adhere to the Academy Rules

 

Academy Rules

1. Bookings & Payments:

o All lane bookings must be made in advance.

o Payment must be completed prior to using the facility.

2. Equipment & Safety:

o Players must wear appropriate cricket gear, including helmets when using the

Bola Machine.

o The Academy is not responsible for any injuries sustained while using the

facilities.

3. Code of Conduct:

o Respect all players, coaches, and staff.

o No abusive language or unsportsmanlike behavior.

o Clean up after yourself and respect the equipment.

4. Supervision & Coaching:

o Players under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or coach.

o Only professional cricket coaches approved by the Academy may conduct

coaching sessions.

5. Facility Usage:

o No food or drinks allowed on the lanes.

o Any damage to equipment must be reported immediately.

6. Cancellations & Refunds:

o Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a refund or

rescheduling.

o No refunds for no-shows or late cancellations.
